Solution
An MVP was developed from scratch for the fintech startup BNPL for the African market. The business goal was to create a multifunctional application within a tight timeframe.
Key product features include microloan issuance, the ability to transfer funds against a loan, and integration with partner marketplaces for purchasing products in the app.
For the business, a core credit logic was implemented with integration with the Provenir scoring platform, as well as KYC verification via ShuftiPro and connection to the Mastercard ecosystem for payment processing. The technical backend is built on Laravel and PostgreSQL, deployed in Docker. User communication is provided via Sendgrid and Twilio. The team of 6 people worked using Agile and focusing on a clear scope.
